Ten REASONS why should you have a website of your own

Anyone can make money online, you don't even need a website to make money online ... but it helps it you do have a website .. perhaps you should get one!

Do you really think you need a website? I mean, why would you want one?

If you are not to sure whether or not you reall need a website of your own, then this article is for you.

I strongly encourage you consider getting a website if any of the following statements are true:

1 - You have some information that would be helpful or interesting to someone somewhere.

If you know something and you wish to share that knowledge with others, then there is NO better way to do that then the Internet.

I mean, you can reach more people through the internet than any other way you can think of.

Once you have that information in a webpage, people from all over the world will now have access to your information.

Don't even think for one minute that noone will be interested in what you have to say.

No matter how many webpage are on the internet, nobody can express your opinions the way you do.

with the power of the internet, it can be fun!

With pictures, sounds, animation, and the ability to interact with your visitors, your message becomes a lot more extiting then those boring books in the book store.

2 - You have a product that you would like to sell.

First, it is a must that I mention this right now...

If you have experience in a subject,

If you have a hobby that you're really good at

If you've done research on something

If you're doing a great job taking care of a sisk person

then you have a product that you can sell on the internet

Yes... Information is the second best selling product on the internet.

It doesn't matter what you have for sale, there is a way you can sell it online

You're probably saying that you are not a sales person...

That's BULL!

How many times does a friend of yours buy advil over tylenol, simply because you told them advil is better?

How many times does a friend of yours runs to see a movie simply because you told him/her "You've got to see this movie, it's the best"?

You spend your entire day selling, You're just not getting paid for it.

3 - You want to let people know about your business or organization.

You're probably thinking that handing out business cards, it is the most effective way to tell people about your business.

Well... Not quite...

With a business cards, flyers, even advertising in the local newspaper, you will only reach people in your community and people in your path

Your website is a BIG Business Card.

It is a BIG Flyer that always keep your product information up-to-date.

Most importantly, it is the easiest way to get new prospects

It is the easiest way to start a mailing list. That's right, your visitors, if they like what you are offering, they will "Opt in" to your mailing list.

4 - You Want to keep in touch with your customers

How much do you spend on the phone answering the same questions over and over?

That means your customers need your support

All you have to do is have a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section on your site and you will save hundreds of hours and phone cost

Your website is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. it is like a personal hotline for your business

If they are not satisfied or they have more questions, then they will conctact you by phone or by snail mail

besure to have that information in a "Contact Us" page on your site

5 - You want feedback from your customers.

You should always try to keep your BUSINESS NAME in the mind of your customer.

It's very easy to do that online.

With a simple feedback form, you will make it very easy for your customers to give you their input.

People like to talk, theylike to give their opinion, so, give them that chance and they will love you for it

6 - REE Research and developpment

When you have a website, you can easily conduct product surveys.

because you have a mailing list, and you don't have to pay for stamps, you can easily conduct customer service surveys to find out how you can improve.

Ask and you shall receive! Except in this case, asking won't cost you a penny!

7 - You want to keep in touch and make contact with other people.

If you have a website, then it will be very easy for you to surround yourself with other people who share your point of view

It is very easy to let the world know that you're up to

I am sure you will use that you your best interest.

When you have a new product that's out, when you have a new product that you want to promote, you can start with your mailing list

8 - You want to expand your business, domestically or internationally or both.

like I mentioned before, you can save a lot of money by sending emails out to your mailine list instead of hiring calling, faxing, or mailing out brochures to your customers

Think how much money you can save on your phone/fax bill.

It doesn't matter what time it is, when you're in bed sleeping, some from another part of the world wide awake, and at their desk working. they cannot call you but their can surely visit your website.

With a website, you don't have to worry about time differences.

9 - You want to share information with other branches, your salespeople on the road, affiliates in other countries, etc.

I am from Haiti, Every time I have to communicate with someone there, it cost me an long arm and a BIG leg.

One sure way to send documents there is via DHL. Do you have any idea how much that costs?

Transfering documents online is so much cheaper and a lot faster than using UPS, FedEx, DHL, and all these other guys.

It's better than using a fax machine because your documents will arrive in full color!

DO NOT listen to the people who tell you that it's epensive to have a website.
