Everything Happens for a Reason

Honestly, I was tired. I needed a break. A lot was happening and I wanted to see my daughter. Just a quick getaway to reset.
But then something happened.
When I finally reached into my backpack to fire up my laptop and do some work, I realized I had left my backup hard drive in the U.S.--the one with all my data on it. Everything I thought I needed was sitting thousands of miles away.
That's when the idea hit me.
For years, my sister had been nudging me: "When are you going to write your first book?" I always had an excuse. I was always "too busy." But now? Now I had nothing but time--and no distractions.
So I decided to start writing.
That's how Book One came to be. It wasn't planned. It wasn't scripted. It was simply me... finally introducing myself to the world as an author.
