Jack Of All Trades, Master Of None - A Book by SP Woodring
I woke up this morning with a clear mission--get back to work on the manuscript for the paperback version of Book 1. My sister, who has way more experience than me when it comes to formatting books, offered to take a quick look at it. So while I was waiting on her feedback, I thought, "Why not tweak the website a little?"
Well... let's just say that "little" turned into a full day.
Here's the thing most people don't know: I actually wrote the CMS (content management system) that powers this website myself. Back when I started my company, I didn't plan on using WordPress. I wanted full control, so I built my own system from scratch. But that also means if something breaks--or if it doesn't do what I want--I have to stop and fix it myself.
And that's exactly what happened today.
The two homepage modules needed some updates, and the blog section? It's a much lighter version than the one I use on my other websites. Since I hadn't touched it in a while, I spent most of the day getting it to look right--for your viewing pleasure, of course.
